Build Your Own Microcontroller Projects

These pages created by Wichit Sirichote of  Department of Applied Physics, Faculty of Science, provides schematic and software for hobbyists to practice "learn by doing", build a simple microcontroller projects at home.

Build Your Own Microcontroller Projects

Some of the projects include - The 4 Channel Pt100 Thermometer, G5-Data Logger, Solar Recorder,    89S52 and PIC Project Board. Even circuits, code and SBC for the popular 8051 can be found here.

Dual Channel Digital Volt Meter

"I do remember the Intersil ICL7135 very clearly. This year 2011, almost 29 Years, the classic integrating type analog to digital converter is still interested. With a cheap price and easy interfacing, I think I will design a cheap digital volt meter with microcontroller to provide serial interface similar to the Fluke45. Two channels is good for scientific experiment."

Reads51 - integrated applications software development system, which runs on an IBM PC or compatible host. Reads51 contains a C compiler, relative assembler, linker/locator, editor, chip simulator, assembly language debugger, and host-to-board communications in a user-friendly, menu-driven environment.

RitaBrowser - monitors and controls Internet appliances built with Rigel Corporation's RITA family of control boards. The RITA nodes may be on the Internet or on a private network such as a personal network or a company intranet.

RbHost - 32-bit Windows (TM) application, which combines an editor and a terminal emulator. It facilitates writing BASIC programs and downloading them to Rigel's embedded control boards. The BASIC interpreter may be in internal ROM, external ROM, or in RAM.

uC Hobby - Learn Microcontrollers by DIY

uC Hobby - Learn Microcontrollers by DIY USB IO Chips - uCHobby.com

"The mission here is to help hobbyist get started with microcontrollers. The primary focus is ARM7 based microcontrollers which can be a big step for persons new to embedded development."

USB IO Chips - uCHobby.com

The chip is very easy to work with and provides 12 or 16 I/O pins with various built in functions like variable flash rate, event counters, variable sink current and more. They provide lots of documentation and a DLL to make interfacing easy."
